When I read things of interest, I like to do something with them so that I can easily remember them. For example:
Several years ago I made a quilt, partically for the purpose previously mentioned. In the quilt I used fabrics of soothing hues which I felt gave a feeling of peace and rest. Around the quilt top, is a border of an embroidered flowery vine with bees. Inside the border are nine-patch squares off-set by white blocks. On these white blocks you will find embroidered flowers, quotes (from books) on womanhood, and scriptures of hope in Christ, as well as living a godly life.
Just as my quilt serves as a daily encouragement, this section is devoted to my ponderings and things that have been of interest to me in my walk with Christ, and in being a keeper-at-home.
